Guacamole is another healthy vegetarian recipe which is loved by all. It is healthy, quick & easy to make. Some people make it with a twist by adding few ingredients of their choice. Below is my version of Guacamole.

Preparing the ingredients

  • 2 Ripe Avocados: The riper, the better!
  • 1 medium sized Diced red onion
  • Cilantro or coriander leaves for garnish
  • 1 Green chili – only if you like it spicy
  • 2 tablespoons fresh Lime juice
  • Fine sea salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Ground black pepper:
  • 1 Diced tomato
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Olive oil (optional)

Tip: Green chili can be replaced with paprika power if you like the flavor of paprika better.

Lets cook!

Take a bowl and mash your avocados with a fork or spoon until they reach your desired consistency. If you really like it mushy make a paste adding olive oil.

Mix in the remaining ingredients in another bowl: Add in the onion, green chili, salt, black pepper, and tomatoes.

Now mix well the ingredients in both the bowls until combined and add lemon juice.

Open a packet of Nachos or tortilla chips. I generally microwave the nacho chips for 30 seconds because I like them warm with my guacamole.

Garnish your guacamole with coriander leaves.

Serve and enjoy!!

    like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with a few pics
    to drive the message home a bit, but other than that, this is wonderful blog.
